This lightweight waterproof prefabricated shower curb is designed to integrate with Schluter’s Shower System. The sloped shower tray and TS-series incorporate KERDI waterproofing for improved watertightness. They eliminate the need for mortar beds, allowing for a seamless transition from shower to tub. For added convenience, the prefabricated substrates are available in various shapes and sizes, and can be matched to any tile and grout colors.
Integrated Kerdi waterproofing
A Kerdi shower pan is a versatile and water-resistant pan designed for use in bathrooms. The KERDI-FIX waterproofing sealant is a single-component, silane-modified polymer that is odorless and solvent-free. KERDI-LINE waterproofing strips are a low-profile, linear floor drain. They are bonded to the waterproofing membrane and are designed to be installed adjacent to a wall or intermediately.
A KERDI-SHOWER-LT or -LTS tray should fit around the support channel. Apply the Schluter thin-set mortar using a U-notched trowel and slide the tray flush against the channel body. Then, check that the tray is fully embedded in the mortar. It should be level and securely embedded. The tile should be flush with the tray.
